I made h...I think I need to explain Amby's comment. I made homemade soap for the very kind hostesses who gave her tea and couple's party when she got married. During this time, we had some bad weather and our power was out for several days. Our generator kept the fridge and a few lights on, but I had to "rough it" and melt my soap on the gas stove instead of in the microwave, and, because it was hot in the house, I chilled the soap in the fridge. That's what happened to the ice. It did take a while for it to taste normal again. I do not recommend refrigerating anything that has essential oil in it.
