Uncommonly Twinkly Ornaments

This is a quick project that can take an ordinary ornament and transform it to place of prominence amongst your decorations.

First, choose an ornament. I found these at Hobby Lobby:

Place hangers on them. This will be temporary.

Cover them with tacky glue, then dip them in clear glitter:

Hang them up to dry for a few minutes:

Fill a favorite container with Epsom salt and place the ornaments on top. I found these cool shooters at a garage sale of one of Amby's hippie friends in Nashville. You can use larger ornaments and larger containers to hold them if you want to.

From ordinary to extraordinary in a matter of minutes.

Really love your stuff...would like to write an article about one of your projects and put it up over at Magical Creative Spirit, one of the blogs of MagicalHolidayHome.com. I'll link the article to your blog of course...you can let me know over at the Holiday Magic forums.
Thanks, Ginger

Vickie, I love this project. Danielle and I made the glass ornaments you posted last year, using the clear ornaments, filled with Epsom salt. We personalized them using our scrapbooking cutter. We will send you pictures. I am buying up ornaments to do this project next year. Love you Renee
